The triathlon starts and finishes in the picturesque setting of Prairie Springs Park. Lake Andrea, a sparkling 100-acre spring fed lake, will serve as the venue for the swim portion of our race. The bike & run course will take you through Prairie Springs Park, a 425-acre park that surrounds Lake Andrea.

Both races, the Sprint and International, start on a sand beach at picturesque, spring-fed Lake Andrea. The bike routes are on a mix of concrete and asphalt roads through Peasant Prairie's countryside. A minimum of turns, long straightaways and exceptional volunteer support mean safe, fast times. The run courses are flat and wind around Lake Andrea. Each course is well marked, well staffed and includes plenty of H2O and replacement fluids. Whether participating in your first triathlon or competing for time, this is an event you will not want to miss in 2009.

Pleasant Prairie offers an excellent mixture of recreational, commercial, industrial and residential land uses. Our community is proud to offer residents and visitors the highest quality of life. Nearby, visitors will find excellent retailers, dining and lodging. Families will enjoy making a delicious stop at the Jelly Belly Candy Company, where they can take a free virtual train tour and shop at their retail outlet store.

It's a great place to live, work and play!
